Katamus Cursa = bastardized Latin for "Kate Running". I started this blog early in 2011 in an attempt to chronicle my journey towards running a marathon by the time I'm 30. I've since started to doubt that I have the patience to train for a marathon, and I wasn't very good at keeping the blog updated, so I've changed focus.
I've kept the name, though. Still seems appropriate, since this is an avenue for me to get out the thoughts and narratives that run through my head from time to time, at least the ones that I feel might be worth sharing (you're entirely free to disagree with that value assessment, though). That's right, you will now be subjected to whatever subject matter I feel is worth posting about. Random, yes, but entirely me.
As for me... I'm a young professional who still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up. In the meantime, I'm doing the best that I can at what I do. In addition to my work, I run, sing, play piano, do needlecrafts, and enjoy reading, wine, general nerdery (I'm a history geek, Monty Python fan, and think Douglas Adams was a freakin' genius), and good company.
